"kakejiku" is a japanese traditional wall decoration item like
a tapestry.
It's made from japanese paper"wa-shi",fablic,and japanese paste"nori".
Kakejiku is the style that is not the picture, not the tapestry, not a fabric
panel.
There are various rules in a kakejiku.
The most important thing is a ratio of "1: 2" with a traditional
kakejiku.
The Japanese lifestyle sits on the floor in old days.

Kakejiku consists of the most beautiful ratio"1: 2" from the
sitting veiw point.
But now, life style was westernized, we came to use a chair.
The meaning of this ratio"1: 2" has been lost.
So,I create a new style kakejiku for a modern life space .
There is a reason that I recommend a kakejiku to you.
Kakejiku is different from the other wall decoration items.
A picture in frame cannot touch air.
So,it is in another world with us.
A fabric panel sucks in air same as us, but the back is stopped with tape and is painful.
A tapestry is a form nearest to a kakejiku.
However, a spice of Japan "japanese paper" and "paste" is not added.
When I compare kakejiku with these wall decoration items,
I realize splendor of kakejiku again.
Kakejiku is a very familiar item which sucks in air same as us, and can
feel the same season.
It's a wonderful traditional display!

In addition, kakejiku has a lot of charm.
● It can store compactly.
When a foreigner watches a kakejiku, they will be surprised.
Because a big picture becomes so compact.
This is 1set of 3 kakejiku "Magnolia"made from swedish hand dyeing cloth.

A picture of 150cm×140cm size becomes so compact!
Were you surprised?
Magnolia is a flower that informs of the visit of spring.
I like this work.
● We can change kakejiku according to a season or an event.
Japan has a completely different season of the four seasons .
We have a custom decorated with the kakejiku with which the seasonal flower
was drawn.
This is sumi-e four seasons kakejiku.
"Sumi-e" is a traditional Japanese drawing technique.

Four Japanese popular flowers are drawn.
"Sakura" is a cherry tree in spring .
"Himawari" is a sunflower in summer.
"Kaede" is a maple in autumn.
"Tsubaki" is a camellia in winter.

It is drawn a season may be received and passed to the right from the left.
This is a very beautiful work.
A detailed picture is here.
This kakejiku made from sumi-e and "kimono" of my mother.

This dragon is my mother.
It's a very beautiful flower dragon.

I can feel my mother near when I display this kakejiku.
When I watch this flower dragon, I am very very happy.
.
3.Beautiful Japanese spice
This is called"Jikusaki".
It's a portion which it has when rolling kakejiku.
It's made by the Japanese craftsman.
This is called"Fu-chin".

"Fu-chin" is a tool stopped so that a kakejiku may not dance
by a wind.
This is a oriental item.
These are very beautiful Japanese tradition industrial art objects.
There is a lot of charm on a kakejiku.
If you want to prepare the Japanese art space into your life space,
I recommend that you take in a kakejiku .
Thank you for reading to the last. |
